Tallahassee 25

The Tallahassee 25 is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization incorporated with the State of Florida. Twenty-five young professionals established the organization as "charter" members in March 1997. There is no paid staff, just a network of friends dedicated to creating opportunities for local children, through support and hands-on involvement in programs and activities for which allow kids to enjoy their youth -- while also helping them learn principles such as responsibility, self esteem, self discipline, and teamwork.

Professional Women's Forum

of the Greater Tallahassee Camber of Commerce

Provides networking opportunities for personal and professional growth while promoting economic and business development, the Professional Women’s Forum has provided insightful speakers, leadership, and exhibit opportunities for over 20 years. This informative luncheon, presented by Capital Health Plan and sponsored by Russell B. Rainey, D.M.D., brings together more than 250 attendees where topics such as health, legal, financial, and current events are discussed. Tallahassee Women's Newcomers Club

Club designed to give men and women the opportunity to meet and develop friendships with others who live in the area. Many of these groups have general meetings and interest groups which encourage members to learn about their new city, its culture, activities, lifestyle, and to develop friendships by sharing interests and hobbies with each other. Some of the different groups in the directory include Newcomers Club , New Neighbors, Welcome Friends, Friends & Families, Welcome Wagon Club, MOMS Club, Mothers and More, Dad-to-Dad, and more.

Junior League of Tallahassee

The Junior League of Tallahassee is a nonprofit organization of women committed to improving the lives of children and families through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. JLT commits more than 5,000 volunteer hours and contributes more than $80,000 annually to our community. The proceeds acquired through our various fundraisers benefit local area children and their families by targeting their specific needs.

Tallahassee Women Lawyers

Overview & Purpose: Tallahassee Women Lawyers (TWL) was established in 1980 and has approximately 200 members. Its purposes are "(1) to promote the status of women in the legal community; and (2) to create, improve, and maintain supportive networks among women in the legal profession through mutual cooperation, respect, and good friendship." Membership is available to female and male lawyers and law students. An affiliate membership is also available to non-lawyers.
